I paint these textured, energy filled scapes to further enjoy the love I have for New Zealands coastlines.  No place in particular, they remind me of everywhere from Mahia to Banks Peninsula and beyond and between.  Drying farmland, dramatic cliff drops, storms gathering.
 
I use perspex offcuts for these smaller works to ensure there is no wastage.
